Corluddy holds a megalithic tomb where ancient people placed stones to mark death and memory. The monument remains unclassified, denying easy judgement about its exact form or purpose. That vacuum invites imagination: perhaps it was a gateway, a shrine or a grave for someone whose name vanished before writing existed.
