Gateway, extant 1909, on a symmetrical plan comprising pair of granite ashlar piers having ball finial-topped "Cyma Recta"- or "Cyma Reversa"-detailed cornice capping supporting barley twist-detailed wrought iron double gates with granite ashlar outer piers having "Cyma Recta"- or "Cyma Reversa"-detailed cornice capping supporting barley twist-detailed wrought iron gates. Road fronted at entrance to grounds of Woodbrook.
A gateway forming part of a neat self-contained group alongside an adjacent gate lodge (see 60260160) with the resulting ensemble making a pleasing visual statement in a sylvan street scene at the principal entrance on to the grounds of the Woodbrook estate.
