What is recorded here
Terraced two-bay two-storey former house, built c. 1775, now in use as consulting rooms. Pitched slate roof with rooflight. Rendered walls. Timber sliding sash windows to first floor. Fixed timber window and timber panelled door having limestone threshold to ground floor.
Built as a pair with the adjoining building to the east, the scale and form of this pair make a notable and positive contribution to the streetscape. Though the adjoining building is now altered and interesting features and materials have been replaced, this building is enhanced by the retention of the steeply pitched roof, timber sliding sash windows and limestone threshold.
This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
