The Tower (Barn) is a castle in County Cork, Ireland. Perhaps its limestone walls stood tall enough to block the sky when the first surveyors sketched the land. Maybe the treshing mill consumed more grain than any hunger could justify. Imagine the tower rising like a forgotten promise, still holding the weight of every kernel it ever swallowed.
A relatively modern limestone structure, illustrated in first Ordnance Survey map circa 1847 and described as a treshing mill.
