Denis Power documented the Corgrig standing stone in 2011, capturing a rectangular stone rising 1.8m through undulating pasture. Cattle have rubbed its upper surface smooth and poached the ground around its base, turning an ancient marker into a communal scratching post. The stone stands without visible packing, exposing its long axis to the sky while local life constantly rewrites its edges.

In undulating pasture, on N-facing slope. Rectangular stone (H 1.8m; 0.25m x 0.3m) standing upright, long axis E-W. Upper part of stone worn smooth by cattle who have also poached ground around the stone. No packing stones evident at base. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 26 August 2011
