Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Corcullioncrew stands as a raised circular grass area forty metres across, bounded by a slight earthen bank and hedge on the south side of a drumlin ridge in County Monaghan. Local tradition claims an underground passage southwest of the centre, though no physical evidence supports that story. The visible entrance and causeway at the southeast may mark the original opening, preserving a shape that has watched the ridge since before written memory.

Located just off the SE end of a NW-SE drumlin ridge on the S side. This is a raised circular and grass-covered area (diam. 40.5m ENE-WSW; 36.5m NNW-SSE) defined by a slight earthen bank (Wth c. 3m; int. H c. 0.5m; ext. H c. 1.5-2m) and hedge that has external facing stones WSW-N. There are traces of an outer fosse that are best preserved (Wth of top 3m; Wth of base 1.3m; ext. D 1m) SE-S. The modern entrance (Wth 4m) and causeway (Wth of top 3.6m; H 0.8m) at SE may be on the site of the original. There is a local tradition of an underground passage that might be a Man-made underground passage (MO025-043002-) SW of the centre but there is no physical evidence of this.
