Hut site in Coomclogh

In rough hill grazing, on a terrace on the S-facing slopes of the Shehy Mountains. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 3m) defined by traces of a wall (T 0.6m; H 0.3m) which consist of a double row of contiguous upright slabs that protrude above the surface of the bog. The level interior is raised (H 0.15m) at the S and cut (D 0.2m) into the upslope at the N to compensate for the slope.
