What is recorded here

Indicated is a small oval island in Coologe Lough, County Cavan, Ireland. It measures twenty-five metres long and twelve metres wide, stands one hundred metres from the shore, and still wears a cover of trees. A crannog is a made or chosen human place, so the water did not appear empty; it contained a address. People may have stood on that wood, watched the lough change, and left the island behind.
