Down Survey cartographers marked the ruined church, weir and cabin before modern memory faded. The rectangular church still stands atop a ridge inside a D-shaped graveyard, its grass-covered walls enclosing post-1700 memorials. The eastern stile invites entry into a place where stone, death and continuity remain visibly tangled.

Marked on the Down Survey (1655-6) map 'ruined church, weir, cabin'. A rectangular church (LA028-061) with standing remains of W gable and N, S and E walls indicated by grass-covered banks. Roughly D-shaped graveyard (int. dims. 31m N-S; 33m E-W) enclosed by a stone wall (wall T 0.45m) containing post 1700 AD memorials. Church atop ridge in NW quadrant of graveyard.
