What is recorded here

Coolcronaun holds a standing stone in County Mayo. The stone still stands where people first set it or left it behind. It may have marked a boundary, a burial, a meeting place or a warning. Its exact purpose has faded, but the stone still occupies the land and refuses to be forgotten.
