What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to myth. Its name sounds like a pointer rather than a place, as if the land is marking something nobody remembers. The clay may have held a family, a herdsman or a child before it became a fortress for unseen things.
