Coolagh keeps a standing stone only in memory now. Bowman measured it at Mrs MacAullife's farm in 1934, just under three feet high but broad enough to need more than thirteen feet of rope around its middle. It may have marked a boundary, a burial or a meeting place, yet even the field where it stood has slipped from the story. What remains is a stone large enough to see clearly, lost only because nobody wrote down where the seeing happened.

Bowman (1934, 182) recorded standing stone in Mrs MacAullife's farm; '2ft 10in high by 13ft 2in girth'. Exact location not known.
