Standing stone in Cool (coshmore and Coshbride By.) is a standing stone in Cool (coshmore and Coshbride By.), County Waterford, Ireland. Situated on a west-facing slope, this is the possible original location of a stone that was thought to have been set up as a scratching post. It was removed approximately eighteen metres to the south and re-erected as a gate post, where it remains as a conglomerate sandstone upright measuring 0.5 metres by 0.28 metres and 1.23 metres in height. The stone tapers towards the top with a sloping shoulder, and a socket 0.05 metres by 0.02 metres to receive a gate bar was carved into the stone 0.68 metres above ground on its current northeast face.

Situated on a W-facing slope. This is the possible original location of a stone which was thought to have been set up as a scratching post. It was removed c. 18m to the S and re-erected as a gate post (WA020-031----), where it remains as a conglomerate sandstone upright (dims. 0.5m x 0.28m; H 1.23m). The stone tapers towards the top and has a sloping shoulder. A socket (0.05m x 0.02m) to receive a gate bar has been carved into the stone 0.68m above ground on its current NE face.
