Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Commons OF Lloyd stands on a NW-facing slope of the Hill of Lloyd in County Meath, Ireland. It measures about 38 to 45 metres across and rose no higher than 0.35 metres when last described, yet it appeared as a fort on early maps and still carries the breath of a place people shaped before forgetting its name.

Located towards the bottom of a NW-facing slope of the Hill of Lloyd. It is depicted as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40-45m) only the 1910 edition of the OS 6-inch map where it is described as a ‘Fort’ and as a hachured circular feature on the 1912 25-inch edition. It was described in 1968 (SMR file) as a low rise (ext. diam. 38m E-W; 37m N-S; max. H 0.35m at NW). There was no visible fosse or entrance, but it is probably a rath. However, a gradiometer survey (23R0199) of the entire field failed to provide any confirmation of any subsurface presence of this feature (Dowling 2023b).
