What is recorded here

Indicated is an earthwork in Cloonycarran More, County Roscommon, Ireland. It appears as a small circular enclosure measuring about twenty-five metres across on the 1837 Ordnance Survey map. The site sits towards the bottom of the west-facing slope of Slieve Bawn, though it is no longer visible at ground level in the pasture. Three other raths occupy the nearby slope within two hundred metres.
Marked as a small circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated towards the bottom of the W-facing slope of Slieve Bawn. It is not visible at ground level in pasture. Rath (RO029-104----) is c. 130m to the NW, rath (RO029-106----) is c. 170m to the NE, and rath (RO029-108----) is c. 100m to the E.
