What is recorded here

Indicated is a Galway ringfort, a shallow stone-and-earth circle in open grassland, the kind of place where people once drew a line around their own lives and called the inside home. Much of its shape has blurred into the land, but the bank and scarp still describe a small defended world, perhaps with a ditch beyond. It is the sort of fort that does not announce itself; it waits to be seen, and being seen is half the magic.

In level grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular ringfort (E-W 27m, N-S 23m) defined by a stone-faced bank from N to NE and from SSW to NW; elsewhere a scarp forms the enclosing element.
