Towards the top of the S-facing slope of a small hill. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 69m E-W; 62m N-S) defined by a gapped earthen bank (Wth 4-4.8m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.4-1.7m) WNW-ENE which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.05-1.3m) elsewhere, and an outer fosse (Wth of top 6.7-7.6m; Wth of base 4.3-5.5m; D 0.3-0.4m) S-W-NE which is replaced by a field bank and hedge elsewhere. There is no identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO016-013----) is c. 180m to the N, and rath (RO016-039----) is c. 180m to the W. See the attached aerial image taken from the SE.
