What is recorded here
In tillage. A roughly circular enclosure identified as a cropmark on oblique aerial photograph taken by Michael Moore (ASIAP (114)2, ASIAP (114) 4, 22 July 2000). Enclosure (int. diam. c. 50m; overall diam. c. 100m) also visible on Google Earth imagery (14 July 2018) as noted by Simon Dowling. There appear to be three roughly concentric fosses, c. 10-15m apart. The S portion of the monument is clearly visible but the N portion is quite faint. The enclosure is possibly within a larger sub-square enclosure (dims. c. 140m N-S; E portion not visible) with rounded corners, visible from S-W-N.
