Fairy fort in Clashaganny, County Galway: a subcircular earthen ringfort, about 45.5m east-west and 39m north-south, with two banks, a fosse between them and a gap at the north. It sits on a south-facing slope in open grassland, still shaped enough to walk around and imagine inside. Later field walls cut across it, and a small grave marker lies within, so the place has been lived around, not merely admired.

On S-facing slope of a rise in undulating grassland. Well-preserved subcircular rath (E-W 45.5m, N-S 39m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. There is an entrance gap at N. A field wall cuts the monument at NNE and SSW and another overlies the outer bank from SSE to SW. A CBG (GA016-036001-) occupies the interior.
