Cist in Kilfinnane

The precise location of a cist within the townland of Kilfinnane has not been identified. The National Museum of Ireland Topographical Files contains an extract from The Limerick Leader newspaper dated 31 October 1936 which recorded that a ‘cist grave with bones in field called Ratherdogue’.
