Triangular area (c. 40m WNW-ESE; c. 30m NNE-SSW) occupied by house and garden which, according to Bowman (1934, 399), was site of thatched church. No evidence for church survives. According to local information, church site in field to NNW, on SW side of Hogan's cross roads; known locally as 'church field'. Another local source places church in field to NE of cross roads on OS sheet 16. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
