Fulacht fia in Church Hill

One of three fulachta fiadh (10472, 10474) recorded by Broker (1937, 17) on Pat Shine's land; described as in 'Kitchen Garden - Round, 30ft. across, flush with land, ploughed but not removed'. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
