Killycolman holds a children's burial ground so distinct it earned its own label on the 1905 OS map. The separation suggests local people believed young deaths needed a different container, a boundary drawn in soil rather than stone. That act of naming implies witness: someone watched, remembered and shaped the land to fit the loss.
