A 1980 record describes a thirty-metre bank extending north from the annexe associated with the rath, but the feature does not survive. The site stands on a rise within a low-lying undulating landscape.

There is a record from 1980 of a field bank (RO022-044003-) extending N (L c. 30m) c. 20m N of the NE angle of the annexe (RO022-044002-) associated with rath (RO022-044001-) (SMR file), but it does not survive.
