What is recorded here
Four centuries of human life may have passed before the first surveyor noticed the stone at Camagh. The gap between Bronze Age intent and Victorian measurement leaves room for forgotten prayers, lost boundaries and abandoned ceremonies. The stone did not need human approval to exist, but it waited patiently for recognition.
Standing Stone is recorded as a archaeological place in County Cavan. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
