Lisnagree was a fairy fort in low-lying Longford pasture, its oval bank and wide fosse marking a boundary between human fields and older claims. Before ploughs and rollers erased that shape, the site still stood as a visible chamber in the landscape, large enough to hold a house, a herd or a hundred uncertain memories. Its disappearance did not delete the place; it removed the warning that the ground was not entirely empty.

In low-lying pasture. A report in 1975 (SMR file) recorded a raised oval area (c. 40m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone with a wide external fosse. The original entrance was not recognisable. It has since been levelled and its location is marked by a very low, poorly defined rise. Compiled by: Patrick F.
