
What is recorded here
On the highest point of a prominent NW-SE ridge in pasture. Extensive views are afforded in all directions. A raised subrectangular area (50.4m NW-SE; 41.7m NE-SW) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 3.9m; H 0.9m max.) with a largely infilled, shallow external fosse (Wth c. 4.2m; D 0.2m). From WNW-N-E the bank and fosse have been modified and incorporated into a field boundary. The original entrance is not recognisable.
