What is recorded here

A standing stone once rose in undulating pasture south of a small road in Castlemungret, but the site could not be located. That absence is not nothing. It suggests the stone was moved, buried, broken or forgotten. The land may have swallowed the marker while people continued past the place where it stood.

Situated in gently undulating pasture immediately S of a small road. The land to S is undulating pasture and marsh. There is a wooded area across the road to N. The site could not be located.
