What is recorded here

Low earthen banks stretch across pasture east of Burriscarra Abbey, possibly marking the lost boundary of its ecclesiastical settlement. They lie hidden beneath grass and memory, waiting for rain or aerial light to reveal their lines. The abbey stands beside them still, but the earthwork belongs to whoever walked that boundary before the stones were built.

In pasture, immediately E of Burriscarra Abbey (MA100-040003-) and Church (MA099-017----). Series of low, linear earthen banks are visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP). Possibly associated with nearby ecclesiastical settlement. The above description has been derived from D.
