Structure

A spread of light brushwood on the field surface (Wth 1.05m; D 0.14m). A large number of the pieces sit upright at angles ranging from 45-90°. The field record suggests that the site may have been disturbed, however, on the basis of the poor condition of the wood. Wood species include hazel. The site is located c. 2m S of SMR OF007-253----. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
