What is recorded here

Castle in Durraclogh appeared in 16th and 17th century documents, but the exact ground has been lost. It may have stood beside a road, hidden under a field, or vanished when the land was rearranged. What remains is a name sharp enough to mark the townland and a warning that castles do not always preserve their own shape.
