Standing stone (present location) in Cashel is a standing stone (present location) in Cashel, County Tipperary, Ireland. The stone is 0.74 metres wide, 0.24 metres deep and 2.14 metres tall. It formerly stood about 3 kilometres south-southwest of Cashel in Ballinree townland. The landowner told the surveyor that field clearance removed it about twenty years before the 2011 upload.
Formerly situated c. 3km SSW of Cashel in Ballinree townland (see TS060-119----). According to the landowner the standing stone was removed c. 20 years ago as a result of field clearance. The stone (0.74m x 0.24m; H 2.14m) is currently embedded in a concrete floor in the interior of the Cashel Folk Museum. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
