What is recorded here

Ballymaglancy Cave is a 726-metre limestone tunnel near Cong where lesser horseshoe bats still fly through darkness that human hands have not fitted for display. Its name preserves the Clancy or Glancy family townland, while Pollwalter remembers a mill pond beside the entrance. The cave is not a spectacle for tourists; it is a living chamber where protected bats hunt, rest and continue an old rhythm beneath Galway soil.
