Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Carrownamaddy (athlone South By.) is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Carrownamaddy (athlone South By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a gentle north-facing slope as a circular overgrown area about thirty-two metres across. An overgrown stone spread defines the perimeter, with a field wall overlaying part of the edge and an entrance at the northeast.
On a gentle N-facing slope. Circular overgrown area (int. diam. c. 32m NNW-SSE) defined by an overgrown stone spread (at E: Wth 8m; int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1.2m) with no visible facing-stones and largely obscured by spoil. There is an entrance (Wth 2.1m), perhaps not original, at NE, and the perimeter is overlain by a field wall SE-WNW.
