Earthwork in Carrowmunniagh

Some 120m SE of a similar earthwork (GA017-039----). A circular earthen grassed-over round-topped mound (D 24m, H 2m), the NW section of which has been quarried out. A square drystone structure (L/Wth 3m) adjoins it at N. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
