Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Carrickhenry is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carrickhenry, County Sligo, Ireland. The circular raised area measures twenty-one metres across and sits on a rise in undulating pastureland. A modern stone wall covers the original earthen bank, while a gap on the south-east side may mark the entrance.
Situated on a rise in undulating pastureland. Comprises a circular raised area (int. diam. 21m) enclosed by a bank (Wth 3.60m, H 0.60m) which is covered by a modern stone wall, with a slight indication of a silted outer ditch (Wth 1m). The platform is more gently sloped on the SE. A gap in the bank on the SE side may indicate the original entrance.
