Carrickanurroo is an overgrown oval enclosure on a prominent hillock in County Leitrim, Ireland. Its intermittent earth and gravel bank still marks a space roughly twenty-eight metres long, though no entrance or fosse remains visible. The shape suggests people once drew a line around a place they valued, perhaps for ritual, residence or memory. Time has softened that intention into grass and silence, leaving only the suggestion of a boundary behind.

Situated on a prominent hillock in an undulating landscape. Overgrown oval area (dims c. 28m E-W; c. 14m N-S) defined by the intermittent remains of an earth and gravel bank (Wth 3m; int.
