Embanked enclosure is an earthwork in Calveagh Lower, County Roscommon, Ireland. The 1838 Ordnance Survey marked a circular embanked enclosure about 45 metres across on a low east-west ridge, but farm buildings now occupy that location. Another earthwork called Rath stands about 70 metres to the west-northwest.
Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (diam. c. 45m) on the 1838 ed. of the OS 6-inch map (MA 63), and situated on a low E-W ridge. The location is now occupied by a farmhouse and farm buildings. Rath (RO008B001001-) is c. 70m to the WNW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
