Children's Burial Gd. is a rectangular field inside a levelled Galway ringfort where small plain stones still mark rows of the dead. The stones align north to south across twenty metres, suggesting adults knelt there to bury infants before the earth took them back. No wall surrounds the place, yet the repeated shape of the markers implies a community that returned often, naming each child or remembering the weight of each small body.
