Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Caltragh (athlone North By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It is an oval grass-covered platform measuring 25.4 metres WNW-ESE and 21.1 metres NNE-SSW on a level landscape. A scarp 0.95 to 1.1 metres high defines its edge, with slight traces of a fosse on the east and south sides. The interior has east-west lazy-beds, and no original entrance is identifiable.
On a level landscape. Oval grass-covered platform (dims 25.4m WNW-ESE; 21.1m NNE-SSW) defined by a scarp (H 0.95-1.1m), with slight traces of a fosse E-S.
