Calluragh is a children's burial ground hidden beneath a livestock pound on the steep eastern slopes of Trusk mountain. The pound walls still cover traces of the older structure, while four recumbent slabs lie scattered nearby in the rough pasture. Children may have played beside this place before adults stopped mentioning the graves underneath the stones.

Calluragh Burial Ground: This site is depicted on the first edition of the OS map as an oval-shaped area, but is marked only as ‘site of’ on the second edition. A pound now occupies this location in rough pasture on the fairly steep E slopes of Trusk mountain, overlooking the Finglas river from N to E. Traces of an earlier structure appear to underlie the walls of the pound at N and E, which has an internal diameter of 3.4m. Four recumbent slabs occur SW of the pound, but there are no identifiable grave-markers. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
