What is recorded here

Cairn is one of nine stone rings scattered across a shallow bog above the Dromoghty River, with a single quartz marker set at its western edge. The stones protrude through grass and wet earth like forgotten knuckles, suggesting people once walked this slope and placed each ring with intention. Whatever they marked has vanished, but the quartz still catches light while the bog swallows the rest.

In rough hill pasture, on a SW-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Dromoghty River. This partially grass-covered circular cairn (diam. 3.1m; H 0.7m) of stones protrudes above the surface of the shallow bog. A single quartz stone is set on the perimeter at W. This is one of a group of nine cairns (see KE102-091003-, KE102-091004-, KE102-091005-, KE102-091007-, KE102-091008-, KE102-091009-, KE102-091010-, KE102-091011-), the closest of which (KE102-091007-) lies c. 20m to the NE.
