What is recorded here

Ten cairns are scattered across the hill pasture above the Dromoghty River, each a small circle of loose stone marking an unseen line of human attention. The main cairn stands 3.2m wide and 0.4m high, its eastern and northwestern edge still showing traces of kerbing. The others lie between 20m and 110m to the north and northeast, spaced like dots along a forgotten path. Together they suggest that this slope was not empty but crowded with meaning, even if the meaning has thinned with time.

In rough hill pasture, on a SW-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Dromoghty River. This circular cairn (diam. 3.2m; H 0.4m) of loose stones has traces of kerbing E-NW. Its upper surface is somewhat disturbed. Two other cairns (KE102-091004-, KE102-091007-) lie c. 20m and c. 60m to the NE, respectively. Another cairn (KE102-091005-) lies c. 40m to the N and a further one (KE102-091006-) lies c. 46m to the NNE. Four other cairns (KE102-091008-, KE102-091009-, KE102-091010-, KE102-091011-) are c. 30m, c. 90m, c. 100m and c. 110m to the NNE, respectively.
