Cairn is a boundary marker in rough pasture on the ridge between Carrignabinnia and Slievecushnabinnia, marking the edge of Knocknagalty and Lyre in County Limerick. It appeared as a small circular mound on later maps, yet resistance from soil, water or forgetting has erased it from modern views. Perhaps people once read the ridge through that modest heap, then lost the hint when the grass took it back.

In rough pasture, on the ridge between Carrignabinnia and Slievecushnabinnia, on the townland boundaries between Knocknagalty and Lyre. Boundary cairn (LI050-026----) lies 175m to the SW. Not marked on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Annotated ‘Mound’ on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map. Depicted on the Cassini ed. OSi 6-inch map as a small circular shaped mound.
