Cahershanbacky is a circular cashel in County Galway, Ireland, overlooking a turlough. Its double-faced drystone wall still stands thirty-four metres across, though overgrowth hides much of the structure. A man-made underground passage lies nearby, and another cashel sits one hundred metres to the east. The place retains the shape of old human occupation even as pasture and vegetation reclaim it.

In rough pasture overlooking a turlough to the N. Poorly preserved circular cashel (diam. 34m) defined by a substantial double-faced drystone wall most clearly visible at W and N. Elsewhere the wall is almost completely obscured by overgrowth. A Man-made underground passage (GA104-090001-) is associated. Another cashel (GA104-091----) lies c. 100m to the ESE.
