Laghteyne Grave Yd. is a children's burial ground at the east end of a much-quarried hummock in County Galway, where limestone blocks still mark east-west graves. Quarrying has bitten into its northwest edge, stealing part of what remained. The small size and separate location suggest a community set aside for its youngest dead, yet the loss to stone-taking means some of those lives have vanished twice: once in death, once in forgetting.

At the E end of a much-quarried hummock in undulating grassland. This childrens' burial ground is defined by a roughly L-shaped unenclosed area (L 9m; Wth 4.3m) within which numerous set limestone blocks indicate graves aligned E-W.
