Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Caherea

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Caherea holds a solid earthen ringfort, yet local memory calls it a fairy fort. Human hands built the rampart, but the names suggest the site still belongs to unseen neighbours. People may have lived inside the clay wall before the story took it back. The fort resists easy explanation because it carries both a human shape and a fairy warning.
