What is recorded here

Near the top of a moderately steep E-facing slope in a housing estate. Signposted ‘15th Century Fitzgerald Graveyard.’ A well-maintained slightly raised circular area (diam. 22m; H 0.4-1m) is enclosed by a mortared stone wall with an entrance at NE. The interior contains table-tombs, flat slabs and headstones, and legible gravemarkers date to the 18th and 19th-century. Compiled by: Gearóid Conroy Date of upload: 09 October 2013
