Burnt mound in Portnaboe

Situated on a steep NE-facing slope. A large area of burnt and broken stone (diam. c. 13m) was investigated during the laying of a Bord Gáis pipeline. Most of the deposit lay outside the pipeline corridor to the SE. (M.
