What is recorded here

Sweat Ho is a vanished chamber on the west bank of a Glenfarne stream, marked only on a 1910 map and hidden beside an abandoned farm. It may have been a small hot room where people sat in darkness, listened to water and left changed. The earth has taken back its stones, but the chamber still belongs to the valley and remembers the heat.

Indicated as a sweat house only on the 1910 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, it is located on the W bank of a S-N stream and c. 50m N of an abandoned farmhouse on the S side of Glenfarne valley.
